Representative Lamar Smith serves as the Representative of the 21st Congressional District of Texas. He is chair of the Science, Space, and Technology Committee and also serves on Judiciary and Homeland Security Committees. He was born in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Yale University and got his J.D. from Southern Methodist University.
