I support S.J.Res. 3 ("A joint resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States relative to") because there is a serious abuse of power and corruption by career politicians who don't give a damn about the American people and what we want.

I support S.J.Res. 3 ("A joint resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States relative to") because...this would ensure that representatives do not get complaisant and that members of Congress are regularly replaced by people who are not career politicians and are more in touch with the people for whom they represent and the issues those people are concerned with.

I support S.J.Res. 3 ("A joint resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States relative to") because... it was never intended that the Congress be filled with career politicians. The Founders intended that Congress be made up of regular people who would serve their country for a few years, and then return to regular civilian life.

I support S.J.Res. 3 because it was never intended that the Congress be filled with career politicians. The Founders intended that Congress be made up of regular people who would serve their country for a few years, and then return to regular civilian life. It seems to me that the longer a person is in Congress, the more corrupt he becomes, and the further he gets from We The People, his constituents. Today's Congress members seem to be more concerned with pleasing the special interest groups that contributes to their reelection campaigns than with the people they are supposed to be serving. I believe that term limits will help to bring Congress back to the people, with whom they are so out of touch lately.
