I support S. 227 ("A bill to authorize the transfer of certain funds to improve security at United States") because although I think the State Dept. budget is large enough and just needs to be managed better, any money for the security of our citizens is well spent.

I support S. 227 ("A bill to authorize the transfer of certain funds to improve security at United States") because our embassies need the adequate amount of security needed so that a repeat of The Embassy bombings in Libya do not occur.

Users Opposing

I oppose S. 227 ("A bill to authorize the transfer of certain funds to improve security at United States") because...in the future, United States embassies and other diplomatic facilities worldwide, will consist of a kiosk with a high-speed internet connection. We won't need to spend much to "harden and protect" there. Problem solved! (But thanks for thinking of all those hard-working "diplomats", drinking champagne, and having "international relations" in all those far-off exotic countries.)
