I support H.R. 439 ("To ensure that the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority complies with certain Federal regulations and statutes.") because...all of the lands within the "United States" are subject to the rules and regulations of the "United States" which is composed of ten square miles. If that airport is within the 10 square mile area, it needs to meet federal standards.

I oppose H.R. 439 ("To ensure that the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority complies with certain Federal regulations and statutes.") because...this is one of the most stupid bills to come along in a while. If the airport does not conform to regulations they are fined or shut down. Why spend your time and our money on something so ridiculous?

I oppose H.R. 439 ("To ensure that the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority complies with certain Federal regulations and statutes.") because...a bill telling the MWAA to comply with "certain Federal regulations and statutes", makes no sense, and should be unnecessary; (2) the sponsor provides no explanation as to why we should do this; and (3) it sends a very bad message -- i.e. the government-labor-union bureaucracy is so out of control, that we need to pass laws telling agencies to follow the regulations and statutes. ( A very depressing picture, but thanks for being honest.)
