I support H.J.Res. 19 ("Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States giving Congress power to prohibit") because...Our flag stands for something. Millions have died to protect what this flag stands for. I hate to see it destroyed in protest.

I oppose H.J.Res. 19 ("Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States giving Congress power to prohibit") because...it is the same as what the Democrats want to do by limiting free speech by regulating political free speech for elections and the who can spend money on elections. Please don't touch our Constitution. It has been harmed enough.

I oppose H.J.Res. 19 ("Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States giving Congress power to prohibit") because...while it is one of the most vial and hannis actions that an American citizen can do; it is in fact one of the greatest examples of freedom that we have. I served in the Army with several good men that did not come home to insure that our freedoms stay intact. If we limit the freedom of American citizens then my friends have died in vain.

I oppose H.J.Res. 19 ("Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States giving Congress power to prohibit") because...Really, can't we do better than this? There's actual meaningful legislation that needs to be considered.

I oppose H.J.Res. 19 ("Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States giving Congress power to prohibit") because the Supreme Court has already spoken on this. While I find Flag-burning to be repugnant it is considered to be free speech and thus protected by the first amendment.

I oppose H.J.Res. 19 ("Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States giving Congress power to prohibit") - unfortunately, this is an act of free speech. As disgusting the act is, and as much as I disagree with someone desecrating the US Flag - it is Free Speech. What would happen if someone who was wearing a shirt made from or in the form of a US flag - would someone deem that desecrating the flag? Perhaps - this would open the door to more frivolous drivel.

I oppose H.J.Res. 19 ("Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States giving Congress power to prohibit") because...feelings be damed! it is the very nature of the most controversial speech that must be protected. remember the wbc with the god hates fags signs, even though some would make you sick it must be protected.
