To establish an air travelers' bill of rights, to implement those rights, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; TABLE OF CONTENTS.
(a) Short Title.--This Act may be cited as the ``Air Travelers' Bill of Rights Act of 2012''. (b) Table of Contents.--The table of contents for this Act is as follows:

SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS.
In this Act: (1) Advanced imaging technology.--The term ``advanced imaging technology'' has the meaning given that term in section 44901(l) of title 49, United States Code. (2) Air transportation.--The term ``air transportation'' means air transportation and intrastate air transportation (as those terms are defined in section 40102 of title 49, United States Code).
