VOW to Hire Heroes Act (will be attached to 3% Withholding Repeal and Job Creation Act, which is currently being considered by the Senate) offers tax credits to companies who hire unemployed veterans or veterans who were discharged in the last five years, and gives an additional tax credit to firms that hire unemployed veterans with service-related disabilities.
